Rules and Regulations

REG 1.0 - If a driver A crashes into or hits driver B and with such action makes driver B lose his position or several positions, driver A will have a minimum of 2 points deducted from his championship points plus a possible subsequent deduction of an extra point per position lost by driver B.

REG 2.0 - If driver A crashes into driver B without making driver B lose a position and allows driver B to overtake him, driver A will not be penalised.

REG 2.1 However, if after the above happens, driver B will have lost contact with any other drivers he was competing with or is overtaken by other drivers as a result of driver A’s actions, Driver A will be penalised according to rule 1.0.

REG 3.0 - If driver A and driver B are entering a corner and driver A slows down abruptly in a place in which no braking is expected and thus causes an impact with driver B who is following him, driver B will not be penalised, irrespective of the outcome of the crash.

REG 4.0 - In the case where a collision or impact between two cars leaves no parties damaged, no action is taken against any of the drivers.

REG 5.0 - . Drivers who are re-entering the track for any reason whatsoever, must exert maximum caution not to cause any incident or damage any other driver. The penalties associated with such an infringement can be varied and depend on the severity of the case.

REG 6.0 - A driver who is defending his position from an attacking driver is only allowed one change of direction. Drivers who zig-zag infront of their opponents to prevent them from overtaking will be penailsed. Penalties applied may be varied and depend on the severity of the case.

REG 7.0 - If a driver abandons the racetrack, whether willing or not, he will not be eligible for points. However, a driver who finds himself not in a position to continue the race but does not abandon his vehicle and stays on the racetrack will be eligible for points.

REG 8.0
- . A driver who takes any form of shortcut to gain an advantage may be penailsed by a points deduction or given pit pass.

REG 8.1 - If however, a driver cuts through a chicane or takes a shortcut either to avoid an impact or through a genuine error will not be penailsed. In doing so, the driver must not take a shortcut at full speed but reduce his speed so as not to gain advantage from the manoeuvre. Any positions gained from such a manoeuvre must be given up unless the positions gained result from a crash between other drivers.

REG 10.0 - Drivers who are disqualified (DSQ) from a race cannot drop that result from their total points score.

REG 10.1 - Drivers who do not finish the race are still subject to disciplinary measures. In case they get a DSQ, this race cannot be dropped from their total score.

Reg 11.0 - Drivers who are handed down a penalty are fully responsible for the carrying out of this penalty and must see to it that their penalty is observed.
